Full Project details Background At our residential home in Lancashire we offer a home for profoundly deaf adults from all over the country; many are elderly and all of them have additional needs such as mental health
problems or learning difficulties. For some, we offer a home for life for others the aim is that they will progress to independent living. We go further than this: We feel that our residents should have the opportunity to live as rich and fulfilled a life as possible. Because of this passionate belief we now offer our residents the chance to take part in a range of activities which, as residents of a care home, they would not normally be able to experience. These activities enrich the lives of our residents and have achieved startling results in the mental health and general wellbeing of all those who take part. What next? |
